UPDATE - Kids Nature Fest 2023
The October 12, 2023, Kid’s Nature Fest planned by Green Elk Rapids has been deferred, due to its expanding scope. This event will now be combined with the larger and more inclusive Nature Fest 2024, tentatively planned for Saturday June 8, 2024, 11 am to 2 pm. The venue will again be Veteran’s Memorial Park in downtown Elk Rapids.
Nature Fest 2022 was a great event with over 50 environmentally focused groups participating, each with their own exhibit to showcase their work. We plan to utilize those experiences with updates and additions for 2024. See greenelkrapids.org for background on last year’s program.
